This week, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that it will slowly resume processing premium processing applications for non-immigrant workers under form I-129. Athletes, Coaches, and Entertainers typically fall under the P-1 and O-1 categories which are both I-129 employment based visa applications. We are reaching out to stakeholders to spread awareness of the opportunity to take advantage of premium processing. Premium processing is an additional $1440 government fee that provides the following advantages over regular processing
USCIS must respond to petitions with in 15 calendar days or return the premium processing fee
USCIS must make themselves available over email for notices and questions about the case
USCIS provides a special phone line for premium processing cases that attorneys can access to speak directly with USCIS staff
To take advantage of premium processing, we are offering free consultations on Sunday May 30th and Monday June 1st for clients interested in having a case submitted before June 8th. These consultations are on a first come first serve basis as time permits.
