Most foreign fighters signed to these opportunities have already self secured thier P-1A visas in order to be considered for matchmaking.

P-1A Visas for Mixed Martial Artists and Combat Sports Athletes - Agent Based Structure

Over the past two years, Sherrod Sports Visas has supported many unsigned fighters in securing both a P-1A visa approval and admission to the United States. Our P-1A services for MMA fighters is unique and features the “Agent Based Visa Structure” which permits the athlete to compete in multiple promotions over three years using the same visa approval. Typically, visas are tied to a single promoter which can revoke the visa once the fighter is released. In our structure, the visa is not revoked when a fighter leaves a promotion and can continue using the visa to compete in the United States.

Oron Kahlon Dana White’s  Contender Series Opportunity

Oron Kahlon was offered a UFC contender series bout after receiving his P-1A on his own through First Round Management. Because of the difficulty of the immigration climate in the United States, more promoters are relying on combat sports athletes such as boxers, MMA fighters, Muay Thai & BJJ practitioners to obtain their own visas. Athletes that already have a P-1A visa have the inside track on obtaining lucrative contracts with the best promotions.
