Daniel Dubois and Tommy Fury received 212(F) waivers, successfully made their American debut
Sherrod Sports Visas did it again. This time, SSV helped the British boxing talents Daniel Dubois and Tommy Fury obtain 212 (F) waivers. Following their 212 (F) waivers, Daniel and Tommy made their American debut during the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley undercard last August 29, 2021 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
What is 212 (F) waiver?
These are exemptions issued directly from a special United States Customs and Border Protection. This allows athletes from COVID-19 restricted countries to travel to the United States. These are also used to have expedited visa interviews anywhere in the world.
For Daniel Dubois and Tommy Fury, the 212(F) waiver is based on the national interest of the US to accept aliens who compete in professional sporting events organized by certain professional groups.
How does the 212(F) waiver work?
If you requested a 212(F) waiver, you will receive an email notification from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This is the only document that they will provide. The requesting organization is responsible for issuing a letter to the traveller, explaining, and giving instructions about the waiver and for compliance. The issuance of your 212(F) waiver can also expedite your visa appointments.
