World Champion Boxers, Michael “Mick” Conlan and Josh Taylor, Receive National Interest Exemptions Despite Strict COVID Restrictions
We are proud to welcome two world champion boxers, Michael “Mick” Conlan and Josh Taylor, back to the United States to prepare for and participate in their upcoming bouts. Mick Conlan is the current WBO Intercontinental Champion and is one of the most popular boxers in the world. Josh Taylor is the Unified World Champion and the top-ranked boxer in the world within his weight class.
Despite heavy COVID restrictions, our team swiftly obtained visa appointments for both fighters from their consulate in London, England. We had their passports stamped with the National Interest Exemption, which allows for travel to the United States.
Both fighters will compete for their next fight in Las Vegas, Nevada, and both bouts will be nationally-broadcasted on ESPN. With millions of viewers expected to tune-in, securing international travel for Michael Conlan and Josh Taylor was critical.
The promoter and petitioner for these events are Top Rank Inc., one of the world’s premier sports organizations. We wish Michael Conlan and Josh Taylor great success in their upcoming bouts.
