P-1A Consular Practice Success – UFC Coach Of Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Michael Babb
Sherrod Sports Visas’ Consular Practice Is Proud To Announce A Success Story For Michael Babb, Head Coach Of UFC Heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik
Coach Babb had a tight window to get into the United States to corner Jairzinho for his fight with Junior Dos Santos in Las Vegas. We are very passionate about all the work we do with UFC athletes and coaches, so it was important to us that he make it to the fight.
Once his P-1S visa was approved with premium processing, we received an unnecessary and unexpected request for evidence that seriously impacted the timing for him to come to the fight on time.
We Responded To The Request For Evidence Right Away And Requested An Expedite On The Adjudication Through Our Congressional Inquiry Practice.
We then did something very unconventional with his visa interview to get his passport stamped. We had Coach Babb interview for his visa, while it was still pending, and leave his passport with the Consulate in Amsterdam.
The thought was that the consular office would be able to just stamp the passport as soon as he was approved and he would avoid having to schedule another appointment to pick up the visa.
The plan worked perfectly and timed out just right. Coach Babb was able to come to the United States a week before the fight and was his cornerman for the biggest win of Jair’s career against Junior Dos Santos.
