Charlotte, NC, USA (November 26, 2018) –

Sherrod Sports Visas is pleased to announce a P visa petition for Russian boxer Evgeny Shvedenko who will be training at B Street Boxing in California for years to come. Evgeny is an undefeated super middleweight boxer who currently lives in Germany but comes to the United States to prepare for his fights.  He is one of the premier up and coming challengers in his weight class.

The Russian boxer obtained his P visa through his trainer, Eddie Croft, who owns B Street Boxing.  The P visa validity status will last for about three years and allow Evgeny United States and travel freely in and out of the country. Getting the P visa was important for Evgeny because it was becoming more difficult to travel to the United States using his visitor visa.

Partner, Sherrod Seward, the lead attorney on the case and practice manager for Sherrod Sports Visas immigration practice, www.sherrodsportsvisas.com,  was able to get the visa approved after only 3 days of processing at the USCIS California Service Center. “Our goal is to be the absolute best in the Nation for obtaining immigration solutions for combat sports athletes,” partner Sherrod Seward says. “We know how to do P visa petitions and we know the fight business, which allows us to get things done very quickly and efficiently.”

“Sherrod Sports Visas is easy to work with and they know their stuff”, says Eddie Croft of B Street Boxing. “I will surely recommend Sherrod to other training centers and boxing promotions.“

TRAINING CENTERS PETITIONING FOR P VISAS

Athletes from all over the world have trained for their competitions and tournaments in the United States on visitor B1/B2 visas for years. However, recent changes in immigration enforcement aggressiveness threatens athletes’ ability to move freely in and out of the United States on a visitor visa. For these purposes, Sherrod Sports Visas has educated the sports community on successful alternatives that last using the P visa process. Typically P visas are obtained from a United States based event/competition company or by a United States based management company. Currently, we are servicing applications for P and O visas that utilize training facilities as US representatives of foreign agents to sponsor athletes. Many athletes are managed in their home country and rely on sponsorship from events in which they compete to serve as the petitioner for their visa. However, the flexibility and control of petitioning through a familiar organization such as a training facility is a far better experience.
