Australian Midget Racer Scott Farmer Receives P-1 Visa
Australian Midget Racer Scott Farmer Receives P-1 Visa
We are happy to announced a successful P-1 petition for an internationally recognized Midget Car Racer from Australia Scott Farmer by one of his sponsors Steve Watt Enterprises. Scott Farmer has made a successful transition to California in the United States and looks forward to dominating the dirt racing competition. Under his P-1 visa, he will be permitted to work the United States as a Professional Driver for at least three years and can extend up to ten years.
He will also be permitted to be paid from sponsors of himself and his team without committing any work authorization violations with USCIS.
Sherrod Seward, Managing Member of the firm, was able to to prove eligibility for the P-1 visa without objection from the USCIS. He was also able to successfully prove that the events in which Scott Farmer would be driving as a Midget Racer would require the participation of internationally recognized athletes which is becoming more difficult to do, especially in niche sports such as Midget Car Racing which is more popular in New Zealand and Australia.

International Midget Racing Events Argument:
The beneficiary will only compete in races with other racers near or above his world ranking and skill level. Currently, there are only a few American that are ranked near than the Beneficiary or have his skill set driving of driving cars very fast on dirt race tracks. Thus, this racer will require races against other international athletes close to his skill level. In addition, American racers that are highly ranked require other highly ranked racers to compete against in order to improve their own world standings. Very few American racers are ranked high and thus are not afforded the opportunity to move up in the world rankings unless they are granted the opportunity to compete against international talent.
The firm was also able to obtain a flexible driving schedule for Scott Farmer by noting that additional racing may come up and the Midget Racing promoters might change location and dates
The contract submitted for the driver is typical in the sport of Motorsports. The promoters of Motorsports events set up their event schedules and choose racers for races only a few months at most before the actual events . Thus it would be impossible to have the exact dates of the competition for the year because the promoters have not made the dates for the events public as the schedule evolves throughout the year. However, the athlete is scheduled to participate in elite Motorsport competitions all over the world. The beneficiary’s schedule will repeat in a similar manner as new locations for the next three years.
