Olympic Boxer and National Coach Shohrat Kurbanov successfully obtains favorable adjudication of his O-1A petition

Sherrod Sports Visas, managed by our very own Pryde Ndingwan specializes in helping athletes in obtaining their visas to travel in the United States. Just recently, Sherrod Sports Visas successfully helped the Olympic Boxer Shohrat Kurbanov in his O-1A visa.

O-1A visa based on Extraordinary Ability

The O non-immigrant classification is commonly referred to as O-1A or for individuals with an extraordinary ability in the sciences, education, business, or athletics (not including the arts, motion pictures, or television industry).

To qualify for this visa, the person must show and prove extraordinary ability by sustained national or international acclaim and must be coming temporarily to the United States to continue work in the area of extraordinary ability. Being a member of the Turkmenistan National Boxing Team as well as being a National Coach for the Turkmenistan Boxing Team has exemplified Mr. Kurbanov's extraordinary abilities.
