World class essential support staff receives O-1 visa

We are extremely proud to report yet another successful O-1 petition!

The beneficiary Mr. Kanat Islam is an accomplished boxer. He is serving as Essential Support Staff for a world class fighter, who currently has P-1 status. The beneficiary seeks to accompany the boxer in training, in related publicity events and recovery from the competition.

Managing Member of the firm, Sherrod Seward successfully presented the petition proving eligibility for the O-1 visa as a boxer with Extraordinary Ability to USCIS. He provided as many documents as possible for each of the criteria satisfied by the beneficiary.

The Athlete

Mr. Kanat Islam is a professional boxer of extraordinary talent. As an amateur he represented China, winning bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2007 World Championships, and the 2006 Asian Games. He has a phenomenal boxing record of 27 wins, and no loss. After his successful career, he now trains and supports a prominent fighter. Along with being an exceptional boxer and trainer, Mr. Islam is a very successful businessperson. He has promoted several boxing events featuring the athlete. Further, he is also a trusted advisor to the President of Kazakhstan.
